Tiger Woods GC $10 @ Best Buy
I picked this up last night and wound up paying $10 for it. Here's how:
It's priced at 29.99 Get a gamer gift card and use the coupon on the back - it's down to $24.99 already a great price for a great game. Then until the 25th, you get a $15 mail in gift card from EA, bringing the total down to 9.99 plus applicable taxes. Enjoy. |
Looks like I'm going to Best Buy this afternoon. Thanks L&O!
Sounds good... where do you get the info for the $15 mail in offer? Do they have rebate forms at Best Buy, or is it on the web somewhere?
Where do you get the gift cards and how much do they cost? I have heard about them on the forum but have yet to actually see them in a Best Buy.
The gamer gift cards are in a green CD jewel case somewhere in the videogame section. I've seen them in slightly different places at the three Best Buy stores near me, but they all have them.
The clear green CD case has a gift card inside, and a coupon on the back. I haven't used one yet, but I think you just buy the gift card, then use the gift card and coupon to buy your game. I haven't seen anything about the $15 mail in gift card offer, though. Any details would be appreciated... |

The $15 mail in gift card is a BB thing, the rebate form gets printed out at the register, and they also give you another receipt stamped "Rebate Receipt" so you don;t have tp send the original. |
Wouldn't the fact that your using a $5 coupon that makes the game $24.99 instead of $29.99 mean you can't get the mail in $15 gift-card (since it's good for buying a EA Sports game that is $29.99 or more)?

Nope, the register printed it out for me.

This also goes for FIFA 2003, Madden 2003 and NHL 2003. The only problem is that the rebate form states that it is limited to one per household otherwise I'd be loading up. NASCAR 2003 and NCAA College Football are both $19.99 and do not qualify for the rebate, therefore, these games while initially cheaper end up costing more than the others. Things that make you go hmmmm.
Does anyone know if they carry NBA Live 2003 or NHL 2003 for the Gamecube at Best Buy B&M? They don't show up on the website. I would gladly pick up either one for $30.
I saw NHL at mine... but YMMV
Hmm, I think I may have to jump on this. I've been thinking about picking it up anyway and for 10 bucks AR that's too good to resist.
Is there a rebate form i can download or do I have to buy it at best buy?
it's a best buy rebate. But the form is on the BB web site.
This isnt a rebate though....It is a gift card for a future purchase of a EA Sports game....Am I right in my interpretation??? Still a damn good deal, considering that you can use it to buy NASCAR for 5 dollars and sell on ebay.....Good post
you still need to mail in for the gift card.
