Buzzing sound from my NES
I hooked up my NES to my tv today and whenever it comes on correctly(without blinking) there is an annoying buzzing sound as well as the regular game sounds. I have it hooked up through the jacks on my vcr which is then attached to my receiver. I am using standard a/v cables. I have a new cartridge connector coming, so maybe that will make a difference. I tried the suggestions from the Nintendo site, but they didn't help.

Does it buzz if you use the RF adapter and plug it directly into your TV? At least then you'd probably know if dirty connectors were causing the buzzing.
Since you have it going into your VCR, then receiver, I'm guessing you're using the composite connection on the old NES. Are you taking the single mono audio connection and using a Y cable to split it into a separate R and L? I'm not sure if that would cause (...or fix) your problem since it's kind of an odd setup for that system. The original NES is only mono... all a receiver/amplifier will do is make it louder.
