$15 at target?

Just kidding.. looks good, except you can't use it on any real Gamecube games. Also, I've never used a 3rd party controller that I liked, minus the ASCII stuff they made for the SNES.. mmm Super Advantage. Now there's a damn fine joystick.

Wonder if I would be able to successfully play the Tony Hawk games using one of these. I always did like the SNES controller.

I was thinking of getting a few just for that purpose.

I can think of a handful of games (Sonic Collection for one) that this would be great with, I might pick one up just for nostalgia's sake... and the simple fact that I'll be getting a GameBoy Player for my b-day anyway...

This would be cool with the Game Boy games. I might have to pick one up.

edytwinky 01-15-03 10:28 AM

Let's see how well is performs with MK

Josh H 01-15-03 11:27 AM

definitely be cool with the GB games. Probably better than using the GBA as the controller.

Mezzanine 01-15-03 05:57 PM

IMO, they should have kept the SNES button layout (with no bean shaped buttons). Other than that, I think it's a good idea.

Thunderball 01-16-03 12:07 AM

Hell yes!

Groucho 01-16-03 12:20 AM

Seems like the perfect solution for those who don't like the analog stick in fighting games.

Mattalos 01-16-03 12:27 AM

What about the c-stick?

Josh H 01-16-03 04:20 PM

No C-stick or analog stick because it's only designed for use in games that can be played using only the D-pad.

Now, if they could just make a NES controller for the GC...

sdcrym 02-21-03 11:22 PM

The article says it will be released Feb. 21. Anybody seen anything new about this?

edytwinky 02-22-03 01:52 AM

It's not at my target in Wichita

funny guy

tanman 02-25-03 11:54 AM

so where is the best place to import this...

Matt 02-25-03 03:29 PM

www.ncsx.com

According to their site's news today, the controller was delayed from February 21 to March 21, which makes sense, because the GB Player isn't coming out until March 21 in Japan, anyway.

i myself would like to see a wavebird for the nes and snes

Roan 02-26-03 09:47 AM

I ordered a black one from <a href="http://hh141.hiphip.com/templates/frmTemplateR.asp?CatalogID=5276&SearchYN=N&subFolderID=1" target="_blank">ncsx</a> and the total came to around $30 with shipping. Ordering from <a href="http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=75&products_id=2467&" target="_blank">lik-sang</a> would have been around $27. Ordering from <a href="http://www.buyritegames.com/product_information.asp?number=GC-GBGCCNB&back=yes&dept=1003&last=1028" target="_blank">buyrite</a> (heaven forbid) would have been $39.

Gizmo 06-07-03 05:10 PM

Does anyone know if this controller is coming to the states, or should I just order 2 from Lik-Sang?

Jtnguyen12 06-07-03 05:45 PM

I think i seen the control somewhere $19.99 plus shipping ... here's the linkz
