EGM rumors - Some true, some ??
Got the new EGM a few days ago - here goes:
They're telling about a new thing for GC that's coming out - it hooks into the slot for the modem and let's you play GB, GBC, and GBA games on your tv - no GBA, GB, GBC needed - it works w/ the GC controller. You can also hook up to a GBA (via GBA-GC link cable) and let a friend play on that while you're on the tv. This one's already out in Japan - price = $40
I read somewhere (either in EGM or somewhere else) that the next Sonic game is in the works for PS2 - no authentication available for this one.

Coming in May 2003, the Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Player will allow you to play more than 1,000 games designed for the original Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance on your television through Nintendo GameCube! The Game Boy Player is a one-inch platform which connects to the bottom of the Nintendo GameCube, matching the Nintendo GameCube footprint and allowing players to use either their console controller or Game Boy Advance to control the action. Stay tuned for more information!
