New clearance games at Target

14.98
XBox
Project Gotham (in large clamshell case only)
Fifa: Road to the World Cup

Those are all that were left but there are probably others. I noticed they were out of the Max Payne (clamshell) so possibly that one too?

I also saw Nascar Thunder 2003 and NCAA Football 2003 for GC lowered to $19.99. Please add any other titles you may come across.

This is a YMMV thing. If you listed your Target location then it would help out others.

SpacemanSpiff 01-01-03 02:02 PM

fifa is tight

Both of my Targets (Lincoln Park and Niles) consistently have these deals. I may have to pick up NCAA 2003. I'm not much of a college football fan, but I already have NFL 2K3, so it might be fun to try out an EA football game.

Deftones 01-01-03 04:33 PM

The titles mentioned here are the same ones that the fake coupon listed here: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=260646

You don't need a coupon for these afterall! rotfl

Actually, you have to have a 251 memory card for it. There are a lot of stats to save for all the college teams. Dynasty mode is 217 blocks. Figure with the memory card its a $40 game.

NCAA 2003 and Nascar Thunder 2003 for the Cube is $19.99 at EB and Gamestop too.

SpacemanSpiff 01-01-03 08:15 PM

It's current price point is $29.99 unless there is some deal going on.

Picked up Project Gotham today for $14.98. Max Payne (XBOX) was scanning at $29.98, Halo was scanning at $24.98. Bloodwake was scanning at $14.98. All of these had a small help manual with it and had the red clearance sticker on them.

Went there today looking for NCAA for the cube. At first I didn't see it. Then I noticed they had one left. I asked the girl about it(as it was still marked as 49.99) and she said that it wasn't on clearence. she then said that it wouldn't be going on clearence beacause since it was NCAA 2003 it was a newer game(she was obviously completely unfamilar with EA Sports' naming scheme). I didn't wanna hassle her so I just let it go. They did have two copies of Max Payne XBox(with hint book), two of Bloodwake(with hintbook), and one of Rallisport Challenge though. Not sure how much they were though. Anyhow I went to Circuit City and low and behold they had NCAA Football 2002 for the Cube for 19.99. As far as I could tell the PS2 and XBox versions were not discounted. So check CC if you can't find NCAA GC for 19.99 at Target.

damn ncaa 2003 for cube for 20... might have to get that

focker 01-02-03 09:13 PM

I also checked Target and saw NCAA 2003 GC for $50. They had a couple of games discounted, but nothing I was interested in. Best Buy had it for $30, but bestbuy.com has it for $20 with free shipping. I picked it up there.

Not on Clearance but marked "Pricecut":

PS2 Wild Arms 3 $29.99
XBox BloodRayne $39.99

djones6746 01-03-03 05:31 AM

Gamecube Resident Evil is $19.99.....they did not have this markdown on the price tag at my Target here in Cincinnati. Tell the guy to pull it out and scan it.....rang up at $19.99. :)

naheesnapper 01-03-03 12:04 PM

LOTR XBOX TARGET

39.88 at the Sherman Oaks Target.

Jeremy517 01-03-03 12:12 PM

If you want NCAA Football 2003 for GC for $20 and yourTarget doesn't have it at that price, EB does.

So does bestbuy.com:

They have free shipping too.

darkside 01-03-03 03:41 PM

Just to note, Knockout Kings 2003 for the cube is also marked down to 19.99 now. Saw that price at a few stores including Best Buy. Its a pretty good game and well worth $20.

Tigger 01-03-03 11:26 PM

Still 29.99 for Project Gotham in Ventura County Calif.

random123 01-03-03 11:50 PM

I saw a "price cut" on Contra: Shattered Soldiers so it was $38.88 for PS2, good game but I've heard it is short

Was the copy you price checked in a plastic case with a hint book included? The regular stand alone copies of Gotham are not on clearance.

dvd-fanman 01-06-03 12:48 AM

I saw the Max Payne with the hint book and that was coming up on clearance for $29.XX.

There were no copies that I could see of Halo with a hint book, but the regular Halo with no hint book was scanning at $49.XX.

They have so much cr@p at the bottom of the XBOX case that you can't see all of the games they have packaged with the Hint Books. What is the difference between the hint book Halo, and the regular Halo? Or is there no difference?

I just got an XBOX today as a late X-Mas present and I'm pretty excited. :)

The difference is the hint book version is on clearance for $24.98 and the regular version is $49.99.
