Well I guess I asked for that one. ;)

I meant as in the actual game. i.e. The Hint Book version was an older version of the game and the one without the Hint Book was a "revised" version of the game or something like that.

From you response, I'll assume that there is no difference. :)

I would assume you are 99.9% correct. I haven't played both versions but it looks like they just packaged Halo with this small 10 page "hint" book. I already had Halo but the copy of Project Gotham I bought with the hint book is the full version. :)
