Vice City.

IIG 12-22-02 03:43 PM

Metroid Prime very, very easily... This should really be a poll question though.

darqleo 12-22-02 04:59 PM

Metroid Prime (GC)

ME2 12-22-02 06:06 PM

I gotta say I'm still having so much fun with Socom. It's just something I can't put away. That's just me though.

Gallant Pig 12-22-02 06:10 PM

I wish I could say, but I haven't finished Metroid Prime and I haven't even opened Splinter Cell.

If I had to go on what I've played completely, I guess I'd say... Ghost Recon for Xbox.

khai 12-22-02 06:39 PM

No contest this year.. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. ;)

I played that game more than MP and SC combined.. hmm, I moved like 2 weeks ago and I still haven't unpacked my consoles yet. :)

ProjectMayhem 12-22-02 07:31 PM

I also have a PS2, so I can't really say much about the other systems games. I have played just about every game for the PS2 though and I have to say:

Timesplitters 2 is my favorite.

Kingdom Hearts and Red Faction 2 are close. :)

remjim 12-22-02 07:37 PM

Tough question. I would have to say either Metroid Prime or Vice City. Both are amazing titles. And even though most would not agree with me, LOTR:TTT is a runner up. Not exactly innovative but a lot of fun IMO.

What an amazing year in games. I really thought that nothing would come close to last year but it just keeps on getting better. I guess having three quality systems around has pushed everyone in terms of quality and enjoyment.

Metroid Prime hands down, everytime i play it i'm still amazed at how good this game is.

Kingdom Hearts is a close second.

Ralph Wiggum 12-23-02 01:19 AM

Metroid Prime.

I had more fun playing Halo though.

Groucho 12-23-02 01:20 AM

Lot of good games this year, but I choose Morrowind (PC).

Michael Corvin 12-23-02 07:29 AM

Metroid Prime

PixyJunket 12-23-02 07:39 AM

Jet Set Radio Future for Xbox.

dgc 12-23-02 08:30 AM

I honestly couldn't pick just one but I've spent the most time with Ghost Recon on Xbox Live.

edstein 12-23-02 10:00 AM

Another vote here for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault . The Spearhead expansion pack is good as well.

Setzer 12-23-02 10:59 AM

Metroid Prime GC

Joshic 12-23-02 12:38 PM

Morrowind. I had to play it on Xbox as my PC can't run it, but I've seen the PC version in all its glory and it is beautiful.

The soundtrack is great, graphics are amazing, story is immersive, and the world is huge. I loved every minute of it.

kegman 12-23-02 12:48 PM

splinter cell Xbox

evanmd 12-23-02 12:59 PM

DaveNinja 12-23-02 06:22 PM

Urban Yeti for GBA

either that or that Kabookie Warrior game

those were the only two i bought this year

MichaelMeyers 12-23-02 06:31 PM

I really like Metroid Prime, Mario Sunshine and I'm still looking forward to when I get Kingdom Hearts, but nothing has been more fun for me then Grand Theft Auto Vice City.

Captain Harlock 12-23-02 06:34 PM

Well since I don't own all three consoles and haven't played enough games on the the other two I can't really say I have a "hands down" favorite.

I can say though I really enjoyed playing Sly Cooper And The Thievious Racoonus for the PS2. I found it a great cross between Metal Gear Solid and Ape Escape.

NCAA Football 2003 (Xbox)

Disclaimer: I will not be getting Splinter Cell until Christmas. This is the only game I see with a shot to unseat NCAA.

WOWZY 12-23-02 08:47 PM

Splinter Cell - Xbox hands down.

After playing MP (yawn) on a friends Cube, there is no substitution for Splinter Cell.

joltaddict 12-23-02 09:12 PM

The only game I played so much this year I dreamed about it was Americas Army (PC).
