Cube platinum controller?

I've been thinking about picking up a third controller for my Cube. Does anybody know if individual plantinum controllers are available, or can you only get them with a platinum Cube?

Haven't seen them yet....but let me just say one word "Wavebird"!

Truly - the Wavebird rocks! Unless, of course, you need the vibration from the controller... which is the only thing the Wavebird doesn't havce going for it (to prevent quickly running down the batteries).

I wish Nintendo will release the Wavebird in different colors!!

It would be nice....but not a good enough reason to not get one (or more)....in my opinion.

madmike, just a reminder, you can get a gamecube wavebird for $25 at best buy with the $5 off coupon. You can get the coupon from the Best Buy gift card.

If you are a Costco member you can also order the Wavebird online for $26.99. And hey, gray is kind of like platinum.

I picked up a third party platinum controller in a "GabeCube Starter Set" from a Fred Meyer store. It also included two 6' extension cables, a 59-block memory card, and 6 colored mini-carrying cases for games.

Okay, the mini carrying cases are dumb, but the whole thing was only $30.
