I couldn't wait for shipping so I had bought Ghost Recon in the store, but I went ahead and got this one with Splinter Cell. This is too good a deal to pass up for a game like this. I tell ya, I have no time for all these games. Why did I buy an xbox? :)

Keep your eyes on that site. Last Saturday I was looking at the GBA on there and it was sold out, about 10 minutes after I posted here about it being sold out, they had them back in stock.

Yes, the game last night was good, I am still learning GR though and that was only my second time playing Live. I really enjoyed that, especially after learning how to talk. :) What is the mute button up on top for if you have to hold down the white button to speak?

Any planned GR Live sessions coming up?

I went to order Ghost Recon and man, that "automatically putting crap in your cart" tactic that Circuit City did to me was so shady!

It put me off and I didn't go through with the order. I'll probably trade for it eventually.

what tactic is that? I always have to click on "BUY" before it goes in my cart.

What it did after I clicked on the Buy button, the next page had a message saying "We think you should buy the following items along with this" and in my cart already added was an X-Box bundle, a warranty, and an X-Box Live unit changing my total to $329.99. I had to manually delete these items from the cart.

If I was totally retarded I could have accidentally ordered these.

BTW, I reconsidered and ordered GR anyway since I needed to pick up a gift card and the $20 back total was too good to pass up.

I've had that before, but it was stuff that I had put in my shopping cart like a month earlier. It stays in your cart and is stored in a cookie on that computer.

Splinter Cell will be $34.99 at CompUSA next week according to the folks at Anandtech.

The mute button is more for other games like MechAssault that have an open hot mic. You got skills S}{ammer, those guys you were playing against are HTF SOCOM vets. I wish more DVDTalk folks would get this game so you guys could get another clan going.

Yeah I remember both Jobu and Orpheus from Socom. It was usually "you were killed by jobu" or "you were killed by orpheus" that I remember though. :)
