Halo or Timesplitters 2?
Both are $50, so if you could only buy one, which could you get? I've beaten Halo already, and never touched timesplitters.

halo hands down, i still play halo and i got it the day xbox came out. TimeSplitters 2 gets old fast. the first player mode takes about 3 hours to beat and the arcade mode is very repetitive.

I prefered TS2. Both are good games.
1 player I choose Halo. TS2 1 player was okay, but def. did not do a good job of drawing you into the game.
Co-op mode is fun for both, but see above.
Multiplayer TS2 blows Halo away. Bots and the mapmaker are two features I can name quickly as well as the play mechanics.

TS2 was more fun IMHO.
More (fun!) weapons, better multiplayer, multiplayer bots!, many skins for multiplayer, I think TS2 is better in 1 player too because you do more different stuff. Halo was always running grocery errands, back and forth over the same terrain far too many times. TS2 is less serious sometimes but a helluva good game overall.

I would definitely pick Halo over Timesplitters 2. Halo had less guns and no bots, but I never felt more guns or bots were needed. However if that's customarily how you play than you may like TS2 more. I felt the control was much tighter in Halo, and the aiming was easier as well. TS2 just seemed too fast-paced for me and the aiming was sometimes extremely tough which could perhaps be why I didn't like it so much, but it just was a better experience for me playing Halo.
All I know is that if Halo is what Bungie produces when being rushed for a release, Halo2 is going to be frighteningly good.

1. Halo
2. Ghost Recon
3. NHL2K3
4. Splinter Cell
......
......
163. TS2
Halo is the easy choice and I'm surprised not to see GR getting its props. This game is easily the 2nd best FPS on the system and if you are playing live then it is the number one game on the system. Just my opinion.

Why, I don't......
I don't see the controversy between chosing those two games!!
I played Halo like a thousand times and I still love it.
I choose: Halo

I'd say Halo by far. TS 2 is fun but if you've got an XBox HALO HALO HALO. I've played through it once when I was borrowing my brother's xbox and now I have a crazy urge to play it again. In fact it's the only reason at this point why I'm even contemplating getting an xbox of my own. If I were in your shoes, Halo by a mile. Give TS2 a rental though.

This thread won't be complete until we have a 3-page argument about whether these games are first-person shooters or not.
First person, pfft, where's the fun in that.
Yeah, I am that big of a lameass - anyway, Halo.

Shawn - I believe there are 15 missions. I have not played or own the game yet however.
