gamecube component cables?

since metroid prime can be played in progressive scan, anyplace to get component cables other than at the nintendo web site.

Not at present. I have yet to see Nintendo selling this in retail stores, nor have I heard of any 3rd party component cables on the market yet.

Exactly. Why is there no thrid party offering these? I have no idea, you think someone out there (Mad Catz, Interact, Nubi, etc.) would offer a set.

What's strange is that Monster Cable makes S-video and composite video cables for GC, but not a component cable.

Can I ask why you wouldn't just get them from Nintendo? They aren't that much more expensive, right?

I never buy third party stuff for any of my systems, but maybe that's just me.
