007 Nightfire reviews??

I love James Bond, and I heard Agent Under Fire wasn't all that great. Early buzz on Nightfire was pretty good, and I wanted to know if anyone has found any reviews of it yet (GC or PS2)?

Thanks.

IGN has theirs up. they give it an 8.5, and say it's the best Bond game since GoldenEye, but all in all not superior to it.

It got a 7 from PSM, they say it's better than AUF, but not up to Timesplitters 2, RF2, or MOH.

NightFire is a fun Bond game. It's a hell of a solid 007 outing, too, whether it's a great first-person shooter or an enjoyable racer you're after. And yet, while I admire EA's decision to mingle several gameplay types into one package, I would have preferred it if NightFire were a first-person shooter and nothing else because frankly, that's where it excels.
The FPS missions in the game are well balanced, combining elements of stealth and superior action too, overflowing with cool spy gadgets, and the 3D engine powering it all is one of the best I've seen on any home console. The driving missions, which lack the technical edge and depth of the shooter stages, simply don't fair as well.

NightFire is a bit on the short side, there is the rare occurrence of shooting an enemy with no reaction, and in the multiplayer mode you don't seem to be able to run as fast as I'd like, but even with these issues this is still the best Bond game since GoldenEye, easily. It makes Agent Under Fire look very simplistic and outdated by comparison, and that's the truth.

Recommended to everybody. But if you're a 007 fan, NightFire is a must.

First-person shooters always fall under the shadow of Halo on Xbox. Halo is the standard-bearer for the system and therefore all others must be judged against it. And for that, Nightfire looks a little pale. It's not as much of a twitch shooter, but it certainly has its share of run and gun. It's a great game, certainly, but not as good as the N64 Goldeneye. It's world's better than Agent Under Fire, though, and will definitely tide over anyone who's finished with TimeSplitters 2 and wants more FPS fun. The gadgets are great and my only real complaint is with the vehicle missions, which seems to serve as nothing more than an interruption from what Eurocom has done so well -- creating a solid FPS on Xbox that, while not near the brilliance of Halo can certainly stand on its own against other Xbox shooters. A good pick-up for Bond and shooter fans.

Presentation
The best usage of the Bond license to date, from all the gadgets and guns to the many worlds and play styles, FMVs and music -- very well done. Interface is simple, but adequate. 9.0
Graphics
Solid FPS engine draws beautiful worlds with exquisite detail and effects with no drop in framerate. Driving levels are less impressive. 8.0
Sound
Awesome. Screams Bond all around. Excellent voice work, FMV audio, music and sound effects, all in 5.1. 9.0
Gameplay
As a straight FPS, one of the better ones. Tight controls, smart level design, stealth and action elements, lots of weapons and gadgets. A bit easy. Driving levels less impressive. 8.0
Lasting Appeal
A solid single-player experience goes fast, but the multiplayer mode is strong enough to keep you coming back for more, and there are hidden unlockables to worry about too. 7.0
OVERALL SCORE (not an average) 8.2

The "extended play" from techTV gave the game 4 out of 5. They liked the gadgets and the story plot. ;)
