Lots of Deals at EB
 

I just got back and they have a lot of promotions going on

1)For every used game you trade in you get a few dollars more on top of what they will normally give you. The more games you trade in the more extra dollars they give you per game
2)Buy 1 of i believe it was 5 GBA games and get a GBA for $49
3)Trade in your used PS2 and 3 games and get a xbox bundle
4)Buy 2 GC games get 10% off, buy 3 get 20 %, buy 4 get 30%
5)There was also a trade in of sorts to get a GC for $50 when you trade in a old system with 10 games


I think there were actually some others but i just saw those

What 5 GBA games could you choose from? Don't suppose Castlevania was included?

If it is, I'm buying one today! :)

I dont know which 5 they were. The store i go to has all the promotion posters on the counter and i just glanced it while signing the receipt.

I just got back from EB and wanted to clarify a few things. These deals are not exactly what were posted unless my EB had different deals for some reason.

Using the same order from above:
1)Didn't see anything about this
2)When you purchase any "featured" GBA game you can get a GBA for $69.99 and you can mail away for a $20 EB gift voucher. So your final total will be $49.99. It doesn't list the games, but it shows pictures of Yoshi's Island, Super Mario Advance, Metroid Fusion and Golden Sun, and it says "additional games available."

4)Buy 1 GC game and save $5, buy 2 and save $15, and buy 3 and save $30. These are all mail in rebates for EB gift vouchers! Not cash or immediate savings.
5)Yep
6)Upgrade your GameBoy Color to Game Boy Advance for $49.99.
7)Pre-purchase Metroid Prime for only $29.99 when you purchase a GC system.

Still some great deals! Thanks for posting CaptDS9E! Made me check it out and buy some games!

All of the deals (at least those ones listed on the sheet) end on 11/30/02 except for the Metroid Prime deal which ends on 11/24/02. If you are sending in for gift vouchers, they must be postmarked by 12/15/02. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Thanks for clarifying it all up. Since most of the things i just glanced at quickly. They are all still great deals. Glad i could give you a heads up. This is the most deals ive seen them do at one time


The first thing i know they did because I actually read the slip for it on the counter and there was also a Electronic Botique ad in our paper today which mentioned the Trade in used games deal.

So like, when does that GBA deal end?

Sweet deal. Ebay here I come.

Looks like I'll just try to pick up the $50 GBA from Walmart on Black Friday along with Castlevania: HOD. I'll pick up Fusion eventually but with Prime coming out Tuesday, I don't want to Metroid myself silly. Must spread these joys out you know... it may be awhile before we get some Metroid again!

If there is a deal, YMMV. I asked my local EB on Friday and they said all their deals like this were expired.
