neiname, lemme know when you want to play a 2k3 game... I just got the game last night and dont even have a full game played.. so it could be a learning experience for us both.

and mechassult is a blast. been playing that the most out of the 3 live games I have currently.

I know! How about you guys all send me a friend INVITE and then I'll turn around and create a game for all of us and we can add each other easily that way. This is FAR easier than going into the main settings menu and adding person by person. Of course it makes it way easier on me but it makes it easier on EVERYONE. I should be playing this game from about 5 to 6 pm till 9 or 10 pm (Central). You guys look me up and we can do what I said. I wish you could advertise games! I could open the game only for PRIVATE users and that way ony you guys could get in.

I haven't even opened the game, yet! I bought it on tuesday along with Splinter Cell and Metroid Prime. Thank God Rygar didn't come out today...

Oh yeah!!! I will have NHL2K3 today as well. How about we hook up for some GR and after playing a while we can switch to NHL2K3. I'll be a total newbie at it since I will be picking the game up when I get home. :) Sounds like a game party in the works. How about it neiname? I think we will be jumping on around the same time. Are you in Central time?

I'm on Central time and should be on by 5 pm. I could go for some GR, NHL2K3, MechAssault, or Moto GP. I prefer the first two for tonight though since GR is my favorite and NHL2K3 will be brand new. :)

Nope never saw you. I kept respawning in the same spot and I would try to get position and BLAM! I'm not sure I like the idea of the "enemy radar"...whatever it's formally called. It makes it impossible to flank an enemy without them knowing your coming.

We should play some cooperative missions as a group. The cooperative fire fights are mad hard with tangos popping up all over the place!

I'll try and hop on tonight for awhile. Hope to see some of you guys online.

Yeah, I don't care for the radar either. It makes the game less realistic.

I can see that you guys are playing Ghost Recon, but I can't find your game.

The friends list is SO close to being perfect.

I saw Kainan try to join a game I was playing, but I don't think he hung around.

I played 2 games and had the most kills in both games. Probably the last time that will happen, so I'm going to enjoy it. :)

My teammate in the 2nd game kept bitching about one of the other guys being "the worst damn camper I've ever seen". Somehow, I don't think he gets this game.

I'm going to play the single player campaign for a bit. Maybe we can all get together next time.

I am sooo renting this game, as soon as it show up a the video store!

I bought this game cuz of Xbox Live but I really don't like it. Just the single player game is annoying, you're walking along and bang you're dead, don't even see anyone shooting at you cuz they're behind some tree or something... but your team members see em and start shooting for no reason at all

Multiplayer is worse because the same thing happens, only it's the lag that makes people invisible, and that's if you're lucky enough to get into 1 of the 3 whole games going...

Halo puts this game to shame.

On that note, I hated UC too, the only fun Live game right now is MechAssault :(

Sorry I missed you tonight Gromit. I played with WetWork and RobotMonkey and a total of 12/13 players with absolutely no lag. It was perfect and I had a blast.

The more I play it the more I like it.

Yeah, it was alot of fun tonight. We played the solo mode (every man for himself) with some guys that were really good. I actually learned a lot playing with them. I also died a lot as well. :lol:

It was good hooking up with you again iceman. You did pretty good against those veteran players. That one guy DRE obviously plays alot and probably was very familiar with the PC version. He won about 90+% of all the games with nearly double the kills as each of the guys who were in 2nd place. I need to learn how to read the map better, switch weapons quicker and not hesitate so much.

This game is incredible. It's getting to a point where I find myself day dreaming at work about playing it. I haven't felt this way about a game in a long time. Probably not since N64 Goldeneye and the Half Life mod, Team Fortress Classic.
