Component Video Hook-up for X-Box

I am getting a new TV that has component video connections on it. I am going to buy the X-Box hook-up but not sure which one to buy. There is the regular component video hook-up that cost $20 and then there is a Moster cable hool-up that is $50. Does anyone know how much better the Monster cable hook-up is. Is it worth $50?

Thanks

From what I've read, Monster cables are never worth the $ they cost. Though.. others will disagree. To be honest, even if they were.. you'd probably have to have some seriously high dollar equipment to notce the difference, and if you had that, you probably wouldn't be worried about spending an extra $50..

-wink-

I will say.. stay away from 3rd party cables.. if you decide not to get the Monsters, just get the standard MS pack.

You can probably find the MS HD pack for $10 to $15 so it's and even better deal. I'd stick with the cheaper option. Unless you're buying a top of the line TV, you probably won't see the difference.

If you have a Target around, go check out the electronics clearance section. I've picked up a couple HD packs there for cheap. They come with a complete set of cables so it's quite a deal.

Definitely get the MS HD pack, from what I've read the monster kit has a proprietary connection for the optical cable so normal cables won't work. I'm using the MS HD pack with my HDTV and it looks incredible, I've compared the two (my friend has the monster cables) and I didn't see any difference (neither did he - he returned the monster cables ;)).

Not entirely complete -- doesn't come with an optical cable, or at least the MS pack doesn't.

Thanks for everyone's input. I did like Kazmeyer said and called arround Target's and one of them had the MS HD pack for $5!! That's awesome. Screw that $60 for Monster cables. I mean $5, can't go wrong with that.
