XBox Live more disks after Beta?
 

Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone received an email from XBox saying that they should update the shipping address because MS will be shipping out the retail version of Xbox Live. Are we getting another disc? What else are they going to be giving the beta testers?

I think it's just so they can send us the final gold version of Live -- dashboard and all. I haven't noticed any bugs with the software itself, but I sure hope they remember to get rid of that extra layer of plastic. There's no way in hell that I'm gonna try boiling an official disc.

Yeah, but you never know. They may have ended up adding some buttons to the Live part or something else. I figure they'll stick a few more tweaks in it.

Most of them, YES. GP Moto, and Wacked Demos will work for quite some time. Re-volt will work until January, and Fever stops working in November(I think the 15th).

NBA2K3, and NFL2K3 will continue to work fine.

Note: When I was playing fever last night, I got a message that it couldn't update my rankings. I guess that they are reseting the ranking servers.

I was getting tired of the disc error messages everytime I finish a race on MotoGP so I just sent my Xbox off to have the new Philips DVD drive installed. I hope they don't take too long. Wonder if they will copy my save files if they have to do more, like replace the Hardrive also?

I'm gonna go through some serious LIVE withdrawal symptoms while waiting for it to get back! :(
