Has anyone in Central Florida gotten Vice City yet?
 

My friend and I have literally searched everywhere and no one has it. If you have gotten the game, where have you gotten it?

:lol: We should have coordinated efforts! Stores that do not have it (with reasons):

1) Circuit City (said to try back at 4)
2) Best Buy (selling it tomorrow)
3) Target (we get our games on Friday)
4) Wal Mart (try back at 4)
5) K-Mart (clueless)
6) Toys R Us (selling it tomorrow)
7) EB (they have it, but won't price match it. I had a long arguement with them over that statement)
8) Gamestop (they have it for pre-orders, more on Monday, but won't price match)

Actually I was talking to a guy at Kmart that said they might get it today. But yeah the rest is what I got told.

From my understanding, Babbages got theirs yesterdays, and EB got was getting theirs today. That's from a friend of mine who manages out at West Oaks EB.

And as long as a local competitor has it IN STOCK, there is NO reason why EB wouldn't price match it. If they don't, call the hotline on 'em ;)

What's the hotline number? I got "into" it with Denise (mentioned in case she's the one you "know") at West Oaks over Resident Evil for Gamecube (she kept coming up with new excuses why she wouldn't price match when I would counter her previous reasons until she finally just said "we aren't doing it"). I wrote the general manager about the "incident", but nothing came of it.

No, I'm good friends with Blair (Asst. Manager) and Leon. They've been there much longer than her. Actually I used to work there for a while when Neal was there.

And the hotline SHOULD be on a sign and displayed in the store. It used to be either near the exit or between the game cabinets behind the counter. Can't recall...

Yeah, I knew Neil (and Blair and Leon). You wouldn't happen to be a female, would you? The only other worker I distinctly remember when Neal was there (other than Blair) was a woman whose husband worked at IOA when it was being built, though I don't remember her name :(.

Nope, male. Worked at the West Oaks store from 98-01/2000 if my dates are correct. I was the kid with the long hair for a while, though I cut it off late 99 heh.

I used to work with Neil in Naples for a few years when he managed there, then he hired me in Orlando when I moved up there.
