Good Deal on Buffy for Xbox

I happened to be looking at ebgames today and saw Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the Xbox for $29.99.. This is a great deal.. I bought this game when it was first released and it's my favorite Xbox game in my collection... Here's the link

LOL, I've never seen a preowned marked up from a brand new title before, especially by that much.

I bought this last night. I think I got screwed though. Is this supposed to be inthe cellophane wrapper with the security seal sticker on it? mine was in shrink wrap and no seal, and the disc was all dusty. did they hand me a used disc?

btw I am new to the whole XBOX family, couldn't pass up that deal!

I just got from my local EB store, and even though the sticker says $49.99, it rings up at $29.99. So it looks as if this is good online AND at B&M stores.

btw- I traded the sega gt 2002/JSRF from the xbox bundle for $25, so the game only cost me $5.29 inc. tax

oh yeah- the used one rings up at $24.99

Just a quick note, Amazon also has this for $29.99.

Lately it seems that prices are quickly edging downward on older XBOX games. I think even HALO is selling for less than the original price. By next year there will be so many bargain priced options it will be overwhelming. I still have an unwrapped Rallisport so I had to pass on Buffy....for now.

As for the trade in on the JSRF/gt combo. I never thought about picking this up cheap as a preowned. They will probably want $50 at first but that price will drop quickly. Especially on EBAY.

With the flood of upcoming releases between now and the holidays I would think that the stores will be looking to dump old stock. Good for us!

^to ask my question one more time:

does the game come with anything other then instructions? Should I worry about the game not being new other then they overcharged me by 5 whole dollars ;)

You got a used game. I'm sure you've bought games or DVD's before and they all come with security stickers on top and on the side of the case. If I was you, I'll return the game quickly!!!

I pd full price for it, on the day it came out...while it hurts to see something $20 cheaper...I've been enjoying it for a while now so I can't kick myself too much I guess.
