Who else has a good game return policy?

I live about 25-30 miles away from an EB, so I was wondering if any other stores (KB Toys, Funcoland, Software Etc. etc.) had a good return policy on opened played games. I know EB has one where you can return a game within 10 days for another one (or store credit, right?) but it's just a 60 mile trip there and back, and other stores are much closer.

Anyone have any advice where I should go? I'm assuming I should stay away from the Best Buy's and Target's here.

The GameStops around here allow you to bring a new game back for a full refund within 7 days if you don't like it. (As a result, I rarely shop anywhere else for games anymore.) I would assume it was the same everywhere.

You know what I did once to unload a game that I didn't like.

Deleted description of unethical behavior - Static

Ethical? Not likely. But hey who do you look after? Yourself or a corporation?

I don't shop at EB or Gamestop anymore because they open all their games... PC and Xbox and otherwise... I won't buy a used game at full price and if they open it, it's used as far as I'm concerned. I have no problem buying used games, but I'll buy them off of half.com for 20 bucks less than retail and often get them sealed - best I can figure is that they "fell off a truck" or something cuz the prices I'm getting new games for is insane.

Most of the "sealed" games I've bought from ebay or half aren't new, they're resealed. I don't mind because I'm paying $20 less but it does kind of annoy me that they label it as new and sealed...

I've never bought a "new" game from GameStop that had already been opened. In fact, as far as I've ever seen, they keep an empty display case on the shelves and keep all their sealed copies in drawers behind the counter. Haven't shopped at EB in years (generally try to stay as far away from malls as possible), so I can't speak for them.

Oh, and by the way, I'm pretty sure that Game Crazy has the same "Bring it back within a week if you don't like it" policy that GameStop has.

Well, I don't buy things off ebay generally, only half. I know they're the same company, but I just feel more comfortable at half. As for half, I've had really good luck - I'll pre-order stuff and as for "like new" condition and someone will sell at my price and the thing will come brand new and factory sealed (including the original sticker that's inside the shrinkwrap). I've only been burned once and it was on Oddworld which I paid like 12 bucks for and the kid thought his copy was "like new" and it was more "like hella used and abused"... but it played, so I don't care.
