House of the Dead III light guns?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone have any information about the light gun for House of the Dead III on the XBox? Price and when it will be out. Thanks.

From IGN X-Box's look at HoD3 today they say that this is the easiest one to play with a controller. In fact they say it is just as easy as using a light gun.

I don't believe that, but that is what they say. They used the Mad Catz device for their light gun as well.

I just...

I don't think it's worth buying the expensive guns just to play one game!

I love the game and I'm going to buy it when it comes out but if Xbox doesn't have al least 5-6 games using this gun than it's out of the question.

I'll rather use the controller pad.

wow, that gun looks crappy. what ever happened to making them look like guns? So a kid might use it to rob a store. He'll learn his lesson.

According to the preview in thelatest EGM, Hotd I and II are unlockable extras on III. I'll see what reviews are like on the game and light guns before buying though.

I hate Mad Catz, but if they did a decent job on this gun and HOD I and II are really extras I will probably pick this up at some point.

Sega should have done a Guncon type bundle with this, but I guess they didn't want to manufacture a gun for it.

Does anyone know if these guns will work with a projection HDTV??? I bought one for the dreamcast and ended up sending it back....It worked, but not accurately.

It would be killer to stand in front of my 55" and blast some zombie arse !

Yeah, is it rule in North America that they have to make light guns look like half-assed space guns now?

It's bad enough it's that damned XBOX puke green(I hate the color with a passion, I can't stand XBOX displays, game cases, etc.), and the horrid design makes it even worse. Game looks cool though.
*admires GunCon2 that came with Time Crisis II, but wishes he had the awesome black model*

Will this work with a front projection display? If so that game would be cool on a 120" screen

For those wondering, there has been confirmation that a port of the Dreamcast HoD II is indeed with HoD III. I have no confirmation on HoD I being in it though.

Sega is also putting it Panzer Dragoon (the original) in with Orta and they may have the others (Zwei and Saga) in there as well, that would certainly bring the price of Saga down on eBay.

I'm fairly certain light guns won't work on a front projection system, but rear projection, I'm not sure about.

My friend had a projection TV and the light guns didn't work. The guns were for the Dreamcast with HOTD 2
