Yoshi's Island
 

Purchased Yoshi's Island over the weekend; and if it ain't the greatest take-it-with-you game of all time, I don't know what is.

bought it last week. pretty fun game. it's pretty hard getting 100 pts in every single state. i ponder what is the bonus you get for get 100 pts in each state.

Greatest sidescroller ever IMO. I got this and it's wonderful. My only gripe is that the "Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy" effect is vastly inferior to the SNES version.

I Looooooove this game! Forget the qualifications, I think it may be the best platformer ever. It looks amazing in the GBA and is so much fun. Why it isn't creating nearly the buzz of the last two Mario GBA ports, I have no idea. Yeah, it's lame that they brought SMB back again on the cart, but I dont understand why everyone is moaning about it like it's a fatal flaw in the game. Would the game be better if it wasn't included?

One of my favorite parts of this game was the level select music, and how each time you got to a new world it added a new instrument track to the music. By the last world you have a full orchestra playing. Pure genius!! To this day I still hum that theme occasionally, its addictive. I never did get all the secret stages though. I will pick this up soon, i'm still trying to catch up with the releases. I like this game, dare I say, better than SMW, because it was a little more challenging and had cool art-style. Of course I own and love SMA2 also :).

I love this game as well, but I didn't pick up the GBA version as I still have and play the SNES version.

As for getting 100%, if I recall correctly, you get a couple bonus levels in each world if you get 100% in all the levels in that world.

If you beat every level in a world with 100 pts, you unlock an additional level for that world. I have yet to do it, but I only lack 1 point for the first world (its a red coin in 1-6 someplace).

I'm not bsing or anything like that, but I've got all 100 points in all level. I bought the game long way back while it was still a SNES game and loved it. Spend lots of time and finally found every single red coin and flowers, even if it meant sleep deprivation. But now I'm glad and proud to say that, YES I'VE COMPLETE EVERY POSSIBLE LEVEL.

Oh for those of you haven't done it. You really should try your darnest to get it, cause the last two extra game are fun little game where you get things you can use during the game. TRUST ME, IT IS WORTH YOUR TIME. rotfl
