Yes I realize that buying a SNES and NES would be cheaper (I have them already), but am thinking about this.

Are they cheaper somewhere else? This seems spendy.

I read a review of this product somewhere (IGN? Can't remember it's been a while). They said it does work for most games (but not all), however the picture quality is quite poor and there were other problems. Overall it was not recommended.

Here is that IGN review of the Tristar 64. I think $99 is a bit pricey for this thing...

$99 is pricey....but if you own a library of SNES, NES games...it might be worth it.
