replacement socom headsets
 

mine just broke. does anyone know where I can get replacements?


can someone do me a favor and unscrew theirs and take some pics or the wiring for me? my wires got torn out and I think I can put it back together if I just knew where everything went.

I can't beleive they charge 20$ for this POS headset. the wiring isn't even soldered on, its glued. the wires aren't even insulated.

does anyone know which other headsets would work, so I can replace the sony one?

did you try just attaching the wires. then testing it then moving them to another spot method of trying to find out how to put it back together.

It might take awhile but it beats $20 :)

Well, I tried to take a picture of it but with that glue you can't see anything. Here's an explanation of what it looked like. In the "grnd" the darkest looking copper color wire is glued to. Right below it goes the white wire. Then in the section below that. Nothing is glued to the middle notch. The one toward the other section labeled "G" that you just glued everything to has the lightest looking cooper wire glued to it. The very bottom one labeled "L" takes the one that looks more reddish than the others. Of course you know the other side is just color coded. Good luck!!
