The *Official* Sims Unleashed Thread

For all you Sims addicts, how is Unleashed compared to all the other expansions?

For me, it could possibly be the best one yet.

Having pets is cool, although my puppy is getting a little whiny now.

I like the idea of growing your own food. If your household is young, it may be the ONLY choice. Delivery pizza only gets you so far.

And I really love the BIGGER neighborhoods and yet ANOTHER place to visit in OLD TOWN.

There's been more than my share of bugs with the game (for instance, I can't move or delete my espresso machine) but, overall, I'm happy.

i love sim city
but i couldn't really get into the sims or the other add-ons.

made me sad that i was playing a game that was so close to my real life; wake up, work, come home, eat, entertain myself, sleep, repeat - on weekends add "try to get laid" somewhere in there :p

My girlfriend wants this really bad. She has every add-on pack for the Sims as well as gigs of downloads from the net. She's addicted to this game - she spent several months jobless because of this game.

I bought this for my wife as she is a huge sims fan but she has yet to play it. We've both been playing Animal Crossing alot so it will probably be awhile before she gets around to playing it.

For some reason, girlfriends and wives love this game. I quickly realized that this game is like a "virtual" Barbie and you can "play house." Guys like it because of its "swinging" lifestyle.

For women just getting into it, I would recommend The Sims Deluxe and Unleashed. There seems to be less problems that way. I can imagine women having a household of one woman and lots of dogs and cats and birds!

I decided to stop buying the add ons after the last one because with every one I added, the game would run slower and slower. Then with the last add on, it would just cause my computer to crash.

A friend of mine got it and it totally deleted his house and he had to start over.

Odd thing is, this happened to me with Hot Date but it didn't happen to him.

I did notice a huge slow-down with vacation though. Especially whenit loads. I'll look for this expansion pack this week.
