okay i take back everything ive said about the crappy xbox (except the controller, still don't know what to do about that), my dream has finally come true!!! 11/12/02 (better not get delayed). Now they just need to release some alpha and SF3 3rd strike and i will be be missing a lot of class and work :) . Can't wait to beat all of you!!

This is good news. Fighting games are definitely something that could be fun on Xbox live.

They should bring over all those capcom fighting games from the dreamcast and add live to it, even xmen street fighter, I love that one and then there will be a lot of a** whooping.

Isn't it Capcom VS SNK2 EO though? If it is, and they don't allow for the Easy Operation to be disabled, the online aspect will be bittersweet. If I play someone online, I want to pit skill against skill....not who can push up on the right joystick quicker. ;)

I would kill for an online SF3: Third Strike for PS2 since this sounds incredibly cool for Xbox owners. I'd "settle" for SSF2 Turbo or Alpha 3. Please Capcom!

came in 4th in a street fighter tournament once. Been a long time though so I suppose a couple elementary school kids will beat up on me the first couple of times.

this does open up a lot of possibilities on the game companies to re-release older games for online play.

I would also love an ALPHA series game online. :)

Ive spent a lot of time with the S controller at work and I must say I love it. Feels a lot like a PS2 pad works great for me :).

Theres a step in the right direction.

What I think is odd is if MvC2 is supposed to be xbox live compatible, why is the feature not in the JP version which was just released.

Possibly because a lot of DC owners in Japan are online with it already.

Sure, if i win you guys pay for my gas (and my 03 cobra isn't the most economical car out there, i might get about 16 miles to the gallon if i drive in 6th the entire way) , food and whatever else. and likewise if you win

zero: That's lousy logic. XBox Live will be out in Japan. The network code has to be coded to it anyways. It doesn't make sense to release one version without it and then a version later on with it. You may as well get it done to begin with.

don't weasel out of it, im merely saying it would be pretty damn expensive for us to do this (spend $100-$200 to play a video game), so there should be some wager on it is all. But you're so good youll have nothing to worry about, youll even make some money off of it....

as a matter of fact i challenged zero a long time ago to some online SF with kaillera and he backed out saying he didnt have time to do it (even though it takes maybe 1 min to download, 5 to set up, might have to pick up a $10 controller too my god!!!)

theres even a good arcade right around the corner here with all the capcom games on big screens and a lot of good competition. take a road trip!!

you come up here and ill get spot your gas win or lose.... i have Sundays and Mondays off, lemme know :)

Well at the time I was running 56K, and now....Im still running 56K. Provide me a link and I will see about getting this downloaded. I would love to challenge you in person though, and right now a road trip for me is out of the question. Right now I didnt say ever.

bringing up how winner pays others expense is rather lame if you ask me. What ever happened to the fight being the important factor? I suggested orginizing something and you go on about paying your way over here if you lose and like wise if we won? huh? What ever happened to biting your tounge and doing a trip for the sake of it? eh. If you ask me bringing up a lot of outside factors is more of a weasel out of it.

as for the Kaillera, so whats the deal with that or the info run down? that way I don't put any miles on your parents station wagon.. oops sorry, your cobra. ;) there's plenty of arcades in the L.A. area might I add. ;)

im only bringing money into it because of the cost it would take to play eachother in person. i guess you have the disposable income to go drive 500 miles to play a video game everytime some tries to challenge you. it would be cheaper for me to pay for your gas, food, hell een a motel room then for me to just drive down there.

so forget the payment you come up here and play me then ?? i was actually just making it easier for us to play (i said id pay for your gas, even if you win and you're still finding excuses. ) after we're done ill take you for the ride of your life in my 420 hp 2003 station wagon (man i can pick up those groceries in a flash!!!).

Seriously I gave you tons of options, not excuses, to play me and all you can say is "come to LA". Well im saying come to sac. you can use the time to practice if you want and wait until Xbox live.

Thats why I ask whats the info on Kaillera. Maybe its a sign that I want to know the program's info so we can play. -rolleyes-

lemme go get it im at work right now. after shutting down most ROM sites a while ago, the roms are harder to come by. i havent used it in a good while. but ill search around for the ROMS.

if you want to look before i get home, try to find the newest version of FinalBurn, kazaa or someone from this board will probably have it. or just typer finalburn into google
