QUICK!! Mario Sunshine or Animal Crossing?
Just some background - I'm a senior in college...always loved the mario & zelda games, but Animal crossing seems pretty damn_cool (but addictive :))
I am looking to go buy it soon...(within 20 minutes)...help! |
Between the two... Animal Crossing. Both are good games in my opinion but SMS has been set aside till i get less-addicted to AC.

Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing.
(this is coming from someone who owns both of those titles). -k ### |
Yeah - I just read the strategy/discussion thread - looks good, but addicting...i'll be baaack. :)
Thanks! |
Defenitely Animal Crossing. It feels a lot more like classic Nintendo than Mario.

Blade, be sure to also trade some items with us as well :)
|
I think I'm gonna jump on animal crossing tommorow, just so I can join in more threads here.. Sounds to fun..
This board helps me save, but helps me spend too. :) |
IMO, Animal Crossing gets old pretty quickly unless you have other people playing it with you. Trading over the internet is kinda cool, but it's also a PITA.
|
I know he already decided.. but I was comparing the 2 in my mind earlier so I just want to blab on for a bit :)
They're both great games.. but at the end of the day.. Mario is still a platformer.. and they just doesn't have the addictiveness/lastability of a game like Animal Crossing. Or maybe it's just because I've only had AC for 5 days, but I've had mario for a couple weeks.. dunno.. ask me again in a week :p |
I wasn't really impressed w/ Mario Sunshine... don't see myself going back again and again to unlock everything.

Don't forget to let us know what 2 NES games you got as your 'gift' attatched to your mail in your mailbox.

Bought both of these on the same day. Have only opened Mario so far, and it's tons of fun. Classic Nintendo style. AC will be a blast, I am sure.
|
Animal Crossing is my suggestion as well. Incredibly addicting. I haven't touched Mario Sunshine since I bought it.
|
I know you already bought it, but AC is quite possibly the most evil game ever created. I'm prepared to get physically violent because the shop is closed for remodeling today
|
hey blake, what school do you go to in San Diego? UCSD, USD, SDSU?

So... Is everyone just blowing the $50 on AC, or am I missing some deal somewhere? This looks like the type of game my somewhat O/C girlfriend would like.
|
Blake, Nooks N Go (and any other re-modles after) change there hours! 7am till 11pm!!!!! Yeah, I was excited for THAT atleast. I still think a day is just friggin torture! My little home can't hold more than 30 items, and I have tons I want to sell. Just remember, you can BURRY your items, and did them up the next day...
|
The last remodel has him open 24 hours I hear, but you need to spend like 125K in his shop as well as have someone from another town shop there.

Well, I've gotten AC and love it - although at times, there doesn't seem to be much to do since I can't fish or catch insects yet. But this was supposed to be just a quick thread, so I'm closing it. Please direct further AC discussion to the appropriate threads.
