Poll - What Console Do You Plan To Buy This Winter?
 

Seems like with the price drop and the holidays and all, it's a good time to get a new system. So which one do you plan on getting?

The only one I don't have is the Xbox (which I owned at one time) and there just much of anything that interests me that I can't get on either the PS2 or GC. Maybe down the road when more exclusives come out but not anytime soon.

I probably won't buy a console this winter. I'm happy with my PS2 & PC. I've had times when I thought, "It'd be cool to play Halo or Rogue Leader," but I'll hold off.

(Please don't suggest other X-Box or GC games that I might like... that's not what I'm looking for.)

None. I'm happy with my Xbox and PC... One of my roommates owns a PS2 and the other roommate owns a Gamecube. Ideal. :up: Someday I'll probably buy a Playstation 2 or 3... I already own 3 or 4 PS2 games.

Well, I've got a Gamecube, but there are a couple of games X-box bound - Shenmue 2, Knights of the Old Republic - that are pushing me towards getting an X-Box. Looks like I get to be a 2 system man again.

Well since I have the Xbox, it's a toss up between the other two. GTA: Vice City is an ENORMOUS pull towards the PS2. If I can get one cheap that'll be the holiday pick-up.

Only one I don't have is Gamecube. And I've thought about it, but I'm still not convinced I really want it.

Already bought it - a GameCube. :) Between the two us, my boyfriend and I have a PS2 and a Cube now. No interest in buying an X-Box.

I just bought a PS2 a couple days ago and I already had a GameCube and GBA so unless there is another Xbox price drop...

I'm just waiting to purchase the Gamecube bundle with Mario Sunshine that comes out on October 14.

I haven't bought a system since Playstation - I've been out of gaming for awhile.

I'm buying one this season, but I'm not sure which one yet.

I'm debating either picking up a Gamecube or X-Box at the moment (I already have a PS2 and a PC that I use for gaming every so often).

My girlfriend might buy a Gamecube to go with her PS2. So if she does I'll probably go with the X-Box.

yeah, this survey sort of assumes that you don't have a system already.

having said that, the ps2 is good enough although i may get the xbox if they ever upgrade it.

Gamecube. Only one I don't have but have 2 Games for the it though.

Have all three plus an extra Xbox between my girlfriend and I. I will not be picking up another console this winter unless there's some kind of massive price drop. In that case I wouldn't mind picking up an extra PS2 for $100

i'd really like to see a limited edition ps2 like they have in japan... or an xbox or that orange gamecube...

Shenmue II is the only Xbox game I would be looking forward too... but I already have it for the Dreamcast so i am going to wait. It's a really good system, just needs more "must have and can only get it on xbox" titles.

None. I already have a GC, GBA and PS2 and the X-box still has nothing I consider must have/play games besides Halo. Even if there were X-box games on the horizon that I really wanted, I still would't buy one this winter because: 1. I can't afford it. 2. With grad school, I'm having to be very selective on what GC, PS2 and GBA games I buy as I don't have time to play all of them that interest me. So I obviously don't have time to keep up with games on a 4th system.
