GBA Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance

Anyone picking up this title? I think I saw it listed in a flyer over the weekend for $24.99 on sale (either CC or BB). It is slated to be released either 9/18 or 9/19. Is $24.99 a decent price?

To answer your questions:
1) I am
2) It's BB
3) Actually yesterday (9/17) was the release date
4) Yes, it's very good, but there are $5 off BB coupons out there that make the deal even better

Unfortunately no. I know its going to be a great game, but with Animal Crossing and Kingdom Hearts coming out the same week I will have to wait.

You can find the $5 off coupon in the latest issue of EGM.

Thanks!

FYI - I believe these are cut-out coupons for use in the B&M stores only.

And you have to wait for Sunday until the game goes on sale at BB. It is NOT on sale this week.

Bought mine at CC today for $22.99. Haven't played that much yet, but it is brighter that the previous installment.

I picked up one at Best Buy today. If you look at the fine print of the ad, it says that the game goes on sale Wednesday, and indeed there weren't any on the shelves. But I told one of the guys it was out everywhere else, so he looked it up and saw it was indeed in stock, and he went into the back and got a copy for me. Definitely the most helpful a BB employee has ever been for me.

I'm playin it, liking it quite a bit, but does it ever get harder? I've been through 2 boss fights, and haven't even been slightly challenged yet.

Picked this game up and I'm enjoying it, especially the new save system. It is pretty easy for a Castlevania game though. Circle of the Moon was very hard and I guess Konami listened to the complaints and made this game easier, but I think they could up the boss difficutly a bit.

The graphics are amazing. The level with the clouds moving in the background looks incredible on the GBA.

Well, SotN was very easy too. At least with that one you could replay it with the luck code, which made it fairly difficult for the first couple hours until you got good equipment.

I'm dying to play this, but I'm waiting in hopes of the Oct. (resent last week as I never received it) or Nov. EGM coming so I can get the $5 BB coupon and score the game for $19.99.

I'm actually glad to hear it's a little easier. I liked SOTN's emphasis on exploration over super hard boss fights ala COTM.

yes, you can.

I tried to pricematch CC's price and use the $5 off coupon, but it didn't work. So i just nabbed it for $20.

I finally got last months EGM and the $5 coupon. The game rang up for $23.74 instead of $24.99, and the coupon wasn't scanning in. I argued with the cashier and made him get a manager and she took the $5 off for me so I scored the game for $18.74.

I've only played briefly, and I'm super impressed. The game is much brighter, and almost looks as good a Symphony of the Night on the PSone.

Circle of the Moon was my favorite game of last year on any system, and it looks like HOD could take the honors this year, but it does have stiffer competition. Time will tell.

The Oct issue (#159) has the $5 coupon for any game over $19.99. I hadn't received it yet as I moved and they screwed up my address the first time I changed it. I just got my replacement copy today, and used the coupon tonight (see above post).
