madden 2003 ps2 - problem or glitch

i dont know if its my game or a glitch - but does anyone else's madden 2003 for ps2 go into slow-motion type moving sometimes when near the endzone at the bottom of the screen?

That is a problem in all versions of Madden 2003. EA knows about the slowdown as it was also in all the 2002 versions of Madden. For whatever reason (laziness?) they didn't fix it.
