Game Informer Subscription deal...
 

Not a super outrageous bargain, but I went into babbages today and was going to buy the latest GI and was offered another issue of the magazine (last month, already had it) and a 10 issue subscription for 10 bucks and no tax. It was quick, painless and easy... I just gave him my address and name and 10 bucks. Plus, they gave me a card that gave me 15% off my next purchase at their stores (which includes Gamestop, funcoland, and whatever else). Not too shabby. If I buy an expensive enough thing, the 15% savings could equal the 10 bucks I spent on the subscription and then it would be like getting the magazine for free. Neat.

Game Informer is $3.95 a year thru one of the regular cheap sub sites I go to, I just subscribed to it last week.

When I did it, you paid $10 and got the 10-issue subscription and a 10-month membership that saved 10% off any used games at Electronics Boutique, GameStop, FuncoLand, etc. I guess they've changed it.

I don't know - that might be what I got... I thought it was 15% off anything, but I don't remember. They gave me some card that I probably won't use.
