can someone explain maximum passing? (nfl 2k3)
 

I just got the game and I think its great, but I'd really like to know what maximum passing is. the instruction manual for the games is thick, but its very lacking. it's probably a clever ploy to sell a few extra strategy guides.

Just pressing the passing button would cause the QB to throw to the receiver in stride. Maximum passing allows you to alter the throw... DB playing way off your man, fearing your WR will blow by him? Pass and bring analog stick toward you to get the receiver to catch the ball short, in the open. Or lead your receiver more towards the sideline if the DB's inside.

Once you've got the controls down, maximum passing is the only way to play.
