I now have both Madden 2003 and NFL 2k3 for PS2 and I definitely perfer Sega's offering. SEGA!!!!!!!
Better graphics on the NFL 2k3, better presentation. The DVD is like nearly 4 gigs while Madden is around 1.5gb |

Maddens is a Sim mans game,NFL 2k series is for the arcady fans, and as for EAs hockey game IMO its the only hockey game out there, besides the fighting the game is pure fun and by far the most realistic hockey game and all the sliders you want, who ever thinks EA cant make good sports games are Sega fanboys or are in total denial,I do admit Sega owns in B-ball and Baseball games but there not perfect as there hockey game shows that.

Originally posted by darkside You must not have played NHL 2K2 on the Dreamcast. Its an amazing Hockey game. Too bad there wasn't a multiconsole release. I'm not saying EA's game is bad, but the Sega one is about as good as it gets. I've got to chime in again on this. NHL 2k2 is an amazing hockey game. It easily redefined what a console hockey sim should be. Luckily for EA shareholders, most people, if they have any frame of reference for Sega's hockey, think of a rushed and flawed NHL 2k. All it would take is one game played of 2k2 to see the light. |
