Warcraft II vs Warcraft III
 

I just saw some screenshots of WCIII and it looks a lot different than WCII.....does it still play the same way, despite the better graphics? i am only interested in WCIII so I can play a friend over the internet via cable modems........unless, anyone knows about the battlenet or something that allows playing over the internet? i asked in a previous thread last week or so....

It's pretty different from War2. The hero units change the game a lot, and the unit sets are different. It's definitely not just War 2 with updated graphics.

The controls are pretty similar to War2 and Starcraft, though, so you won't have to learn the really basic stuff again.


The Battle.net internet support is very good.

Its very different from WC2. The emphasis is on managing the battle rather than managing what to build in WC2.

It is different but alot better, ive seen them for like $20 now, so i think its worth it
