Lord of the Rings game on XBox?
 

I know this title was announced for XBox months ago, but when I watched the trailer for the game on the DVD, I noticed it didn't say XBox on the screen where it said PS2. So then I looked at the EA website and noticed it wasn't listed for XBox there either. Was this title officially cancelled for Xbox? Just wondering.

There are two Lord of the Rings games. The hack & slash one from EA may come to Xbox early next year; it hasn't been officially announced yet.

The adventure one from Vivendi is the one you're thinking of that was announced long ago.

Thanks for the reply. Now that you mention that, I remember hearing that there were two games.

The reason there are two games is one is based on the movie (The Two Towers advertised on the DVD), and one is based on the books (the Xbox game which looks about a thousand times better than the movie tie-in).
