What do I need for PS2 Online?
Hey all, I know I need a router and the network adapter. I have a cable modem. What is the cheapest option I can go to get the PS2 and the computer online at the same time? Thanks for any replies

Well, if you want both connected to the internet at the same time, just buy one of those router/firewall/switches that Linksys has made so popular.
Something like this would work: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...655428-9836839 The cable modem plugs into the router's WAN port. The PC and PS2 plug into the LAN ports. Of course, this requires running a cat-5 network cable from the PS2 to the router. If that's a problem there are wireless solutions, but they cost more. |
