Metal Gear Solid 2 ? how come no more hype?

Sure, 9 months ago.

I will probably get Substance for the extras, but I beat this game way back in November.

I don't think many people around here like this game. I know I don't.

I loved this game. It was so fun to play, but now that I beat it, I just have it so that right before MGS3 comes out, I can replay the first two.

I liked it. Luckily, you can skip a lot of the cutscenes (yet not all for some reason) so the second playthrough went a lot faster than the first.

I didn't mind the cutscenes, one cool thing was moving the camera around during them. I played the hell out of it, collecting dog tags was addicting, plus doing stupid crap in the game, like staring in the sky for 10 mintues to get crapped on by birds.

If you played the first, you'll know it was better as a whole than the second. I was not impressed with the Storyline, background and makeup of characters, gameplay elements and overall ease of the game. Your given multiple weapons to use but can get through the entire game using just 2, and then 2 more in special circumstances. Sure it looked pretty and had some innovations, but overall I felt jipped. Let down I waited this long for this game.

can someone tell me how to get the dogtags? i have tried everything and i never get it. i pull my gun on the guy and he freezes, but then how do i get the dogtag?

You have to get in front of him and point your gun at either his face or his crotch. He'll start to shake and the dogtags will fall off.

For some of the more stubborn ones you may have to pop a cap into their knee as well.
