Who will but a GC just for Mario Sunshine

Just curious as to what non-Game Cubers out there will purchase a system just to play Mario Sunshine. (I bet Nintendo is wondering the same thing as well.) While the last thing I need is another system (Xbox, PS2 and Dreamcast all still up and running in my home), I can't imagine not getting to play the new Mario. With some of the bundle deals that will be coming out in the future I just don't think I will be able to resist. http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=224881

Anyone else out there saving some pennies for this one...

There are a couple of other games I want on the Cube but Mario is the breaking point for me. I'll be picking one up Aug. 26.

Wasn't looking forward....but now that it's getting closer I CAN"T WAIT!!!! IT's going to be awesome. Just looking for more fun and colorful adventures with my little Italian plumber named Mario!

Did anyone get the towel from Toy's R Us?

I bought my Cube the day of the price drops and it was all in anticipation of Mario. Metroid, Zeldo and several other games are certainly keeping me interested. My Cube has sat pretty much unused for a few months now, but that won't last long once the end of the month rolls around!

I am getting close to selling my PS2 and games and picking up both a GC and an X-box, but I DEFINITELY want a GC for Mario, Zelda and Metroid. I'll hopefully pick one up by the end of August.

If I didn't have a cube, I would have bought a cube for this game. It simply rocks. I can't tell you how much fun this game is.

Put me in the camp that already has a GC, but is not looking forward to this game. I don't know why; nothing against Mario, it just doesn't look that interesting to me. If it gets great reviews, and I see it on sale, maybe I'll get it.

I defintely will and I'm not so sure that I can wait till October to buy the bundle. And with Metroid, Zelda, and all those great PS2 games coming out soon, who will have any time for work or a social life? Getting Mario out of the way now should free up a little of that time.

There are a few other GC games I want coming out in the next half year or so, but SMS was the game that got me to order a GC off ebworld.com last week. I can't wait for it (the game......got the GC already).

Me too. Bought my GC for RE and will probably pick up Metroid Prime. The only way I'll pick up Mario is if the deal is killer & the wife & kid want it too. I don't have lots of time to game so a series such as RE is enough for me to pick up a console (after the price drop of course), if there is another game or two that interests me.

mario, mario, mario though he's a fat plumber I just can't resist his call. The only reason I picked up my cube bouts three months ago was for the first party games. Especially Mario (I love platformers), zelda and metroid were enough to convince me to drop the cash for a cube.

Well, I bought my cube specifically so I could play Nintendo games, and Mario is definitely a major part of them.

My excuse as well. It was games like the upcoming Mario that made me buy it on launch day.

I won't get a GC yet. I got my N64 with Mario 64 and after that I only got like 4 more games for it. So I will wait until more games that I might be interested comes out in GC and not for PS2 to make my decision to get a GC.

I boughy my XBOX in anticipation of Mario Sunshine 2 being on it in 2005!!! I hope it pays off.

(j/k of course, wanted to bring some of the fun from the Nintendo going 3rd party discussion here.)
