Are there still any Pre-order freebies?

I am definitely going to pick up mario sunshine when it is
released, and, knowing that every retailer (who I can drive to
on release day) will be selling it for 49.99, I am wondering,
is there anything to set one apart from the others?

I remember a while back when if you put at least $10 down for
a game, you could get anything from a free sticker to a free
hat or t-shirt. Are these promotional items still being offered
somewhere for big releases? Is anyone doing anything like this
for mario sunshine?

Chances are I will just end up using my handy best buy credit
card anyway, but if Electronics Boutique (who I remember always
ran promos) feels like giving me something for free, I will shell
out cash that day. I also remember KB doing a good deal of
promotions. Any info?

If you pre-order "The Thing" for Xbox (and Ps2 I think) at EBWorld, you get a toy and the movie on DVD for free.

I preordered Mario Sunshine at Electronics Boutique and the guys there told me there is some Mario water sprayer toy that I will get. I'm not sure if this will be all retailers, but almost certainly all EB's.

They were the kings of T-shirts back in the day. I still have like 10 of em. I'm wearing one right now! (Gameshark Tshirt which says "Abuse the power" across the front).
