For what I use a computer for the PC or Mac works great. I just bought a new notebook and I looked at both the Vaio and the iBook, but for the same features the prices were just too far apart (over $400 difference) and I went with the Vaio. Plus, where I got financing and rebate deals on the Vaio there was nothing on the iBook. If the prices had been even I would have gotten the iBook. Price is still where the Mac needs to improve in my opinion. The games thing really doesn't matter to me. At least the iPod is Windows compatible. |
Originally posted by Shadow Ace That's funny stuff!! My favorite "real" switch commercial is the guy talking about his daughter waking him up because the printer wouldn't work. Then he talks about opening the machine up and swapping cards and such just to get it to work. In my 15+ years of using computers, I don't recall ever swapping a "card" to get my printer to work -ohbfrank- Jeff Printers, Scanners, Cameras, etc are all USB or Firewire now and there is no swapping cards and very few if any driver headaches. |
On the commercial thing. When you only have 5% of the computer market, I don't think they hurt that much. They probably help a lot more than you would think.
