XBOX Halo Problem Please Help
 

I've been playing Halo on my Xbox and when I get past the 2nd level, I get some sort of error saying Pproblem with disk" or "the disk is dirty" or something to that effect...the disk looks fine...I tried wiping it off like 3 times, still same error..

Is this a problem with my XBOX or is it simply a bad game disk??

If it always happens at the same spot it might be a bad disk. Does it happen with any other games?

Never had any problems with other games..although ive only played 2 others on it

The common cause of this is rarely a bad game disc, but in fact a corrupted save game.

I know it sounds weird, but its true.

If you have a memory card you might try backing up your games, and deleting them from the hard drive.

Then you can narrow down which one is bad, if any.
