Any word on UT2003?
 

Has anyone heard anything about the upcoming sequel to Unreal Tournament? I know it's titled UT2003 and will be released at the end of July. Considering how close the release would be, I haven't really heard too much about it except for some advance opinions saying how good or innovative it would be.

There's no word as to what the system requirements would be which is what I'm looking for since I only run a PIII 550mhz/ATI Radeon 64mb and my system might be too puny for the game.

Most places seem to still have the July 30th release date, but considering that they still haven't released the demo, that's starting to look very doubtful. Originally, the demo was expected to be released just after E3, but now it's just a "we'll release the demo when it's ready" kind of thing.

Last I saw, the demo was pushed back a few more weeks... I'm expecting a mid to late August release.

Are they going to release the demo before or after the game release? Trend now seems to be to get the product out the door, then get a demo released within a couple weeks afterwards.

I was able to get my hands on an early copy of the UT2003 demo a few weeks ago, so it should be out soon. Be warned though, you need a fairly fast computer to run it.
