Who do you fight with in Soul Calibur?
 

I'm referring specifically to the Dreamcast version, but I believe the new Gamecube version has the same basic characters, so it should apply as well. Who is "your guy"? If you fight with more than one character, who do you always go back to time and time again?

I usually fight as Hwang.

Yoshimitsu is pretty bad ass, I agree. I must not be far enough in the game yet, because Cervantes isn't a selectable character yet.

Yeh, Cervy, (as I like to call him) comes a little later on in the game.

I hope SCII is just as good as the original. That game provided me with countless hours of entertainment. Classic.

Ivy. Always Ivy. Cervantes is a button masher. Ivy is the hardest to master.

Mitsurugi was my fave, though I can't play anymore since I traded my DC for a PS2 last month.

I usually play with Mitsurugi or Yoshimitsu

Shuki is so fast she is just about unstoppable. However, I usually like to use Kilik because nobody should mess around with a dude with a big stick.

I've been using Kilik since day 1. But after learning just about everything I can with him, I took my training to every character on the roster. So I can pretty much use everyone, not perfectly mind you, but well enough so I dont lose.

according to Namcoarcade.com the arcade version isnt too far from release. so who knows for sure.

Yes but rumor has it they will delay a home release as to not steal the thunder from another certain Namco fighter.

Ah yes Tekken 4, proving once again SoulCalibur fans out weigh Tekken fans :p. But honestly the game is going to look BEAUTIFUL on every system, and I cant wait to play them. The arcade will be a great place to prove your skill namely because you HAVE to be that good, know what Im saying?
