More on the Rare going multiplatform rumor
Looks like their games could be published by Activision.

The Latest on Rare
We have heard new rumors on Rare, which is planning to become a developer for multiple systems. One of the 99% sure publishers is Activision. On the surface it doesn't make sense right off the bat. It just strikes us wrong: You know, Activision publishing games like Banjo-Kazooie or Conkers Bad Fur Day, for instance. But strategically it makes perfect sense. Activision has extreme sports locked up, it's got a great, big fat Marvel license, and Id just keeps the PC market churning. Then there are games like Tenchu 3, Wreckless, and Streets of LA: True Crimes, which round out the console-style categories. What doesn't Activision have? Platform-style action games, adventure games, and perhaps even racing games -- which are exactly what Rare does so damn well, among others. You just wait.
