So I just bought Resident Evil:Code Veronica X for PS2:any hints, tips?
 

Gotta go to work in an hour, but when I get home tonight I'll be playin' this game.

Of course a having few hints and tips before I start playing wouldn't hurt me :)

Just no spoilers if you can manage it.

If it is similar to the DC version, don't just blast everything. Save your ammo for "bigger" things where possible. :johnwoo:

Code Veronica is still the best RE game made to date. Yes, better than GameCube RE. You want tips? I got tips for ya. CONSERVE EVERYTHING! Do not waste herbs and ammo unless you without a doubt need it. Learn to use the knife. Its powerful as hell and useful! Aim it at zombie knees. One slice and they go down. Also, RUN!!! Dont bother killing every single zombie on the screen. Its not needed and its a waste of time.

At the end of the first disk, is it possible to knock the monster out without a bunch of ammo. I am afraid I am screwed.

You dont kill it. You just shoot it to make it slow down. Make sure you RUN!

You dont need a lot of ammo. You just need a weapon that will make it weak fast. Explosive arrows or shotgun, granade launcher....etc.

If youre low on ammo then every shot counts. Don't F up. The closer he is to the cargo door... the better.
