Legends Of Wrestling (GC)
 

Anyone picking this one up on Tuesday? With Wrestlemania coming out everyone seems to have forgotten about this game.

Ign and Gamespot both gave the PS2 version bad reviews, but the players on the Gamefaqs boards gave the game pretty good reviews for the most part.

Two things really interest me about this game. First of all the control system is supposedly a mix of Firepro and a few other games, and totally different from the old lame ass Street Fighteresqe control style used for attitude and ECW.

Second this game has the Dynamite Kid in it...I mean the frigging Dynamite Kid.

Thoughts?

The game is horrible dude! Take it from a fellow Wrestling fan! I played it for PS2 by the way. I would reccomend renting this first, seriously!! I thought it was going to be awesome with stars like Ricky Steamboat, Superfly, Tito Santana, etc... A VERY slow paced game!!

Stay away from this game. Its one of the worst I've every played.

I haven't played the GC version, but the PS2 sucked. I miss the old N64 THQ and AKI wrestling titles.

Could you guys elaborate a little more on why you think the game is so bad?

From what I read this game does play very slow, and there is a learning curve to the control scheme, much like fire pro...you can't just pick it up and kick ass off the bat.

I really don't like the smackdown series, you can just button mash the hell out of the game and win, I really dislike games like that.
