TOKYO — Sony Corp said Thursday that shipments of its popular home game console PlayStation 2 doubled in fiscal 2001 ended March 31 from the year before to 18.07 million units.
Total shipments of the console since March 2000 amounted to more than 28 million units, Sony said. (Kyodo News)
