Will there be another Wave Race on GCN?

The title is my question.

Thanks.

There's not one planned, but you never know. It's pretty doubtful, as there was only one for the N64.

Hard to tell. How well did Blue Storm sell? Like Groucho said, they didn't put a sequel out on the N64 so it's not real likely.

I'd like to see a sequel though with a better multiplayer mode and more replay value. WR: Blue Storm is the only GCN game I've bought and gotten rid of. There's simply nothing to do after getting first place on all three difficulty levels. Doing the races over gets old fast, even with the weather effects, and the multiplayer player mode is pretty dull IMO.

I like your ideas. Things I'd like to see are a more opened up adventure mode and a better tricks mode. The tricks just aren't that fun to do like say Tony Hawk and a big adventure mode where I could cruise around the beach at Cancun would be awesome.

I doubt there will be a sequel. To justify one Nintendo would have to really jazz up the game and then it wouldn't really be Wave Race anymore.

The multiplayer is definitely simple but I don't think it's dull. I find it to be more intense than almost any other racing game I own, especially when you race in bad weather.

I'm not a big racing fan to start with, so that probably has something to do with it. The only multiplayer racing games I really like are Kart games with weapons. That said, Wave Race's multiplayer would be much better with computer contolled racers involved. It's pretty boring with just two people, which is all I ever played as I only have two controllers.
