help me find this sega genesis system
 

Apparently, Majesco reissued the sega genesis. Amazon sold it for $20 but they are sold out. Here is the link:

Does anybody know where I can find one? Preferably in new condition for around the same price. I tried ebay but I can't tell if they are the more recent release or the original issue. Thanks.

You can get it at Buy-Rite Video Games but I don't think they have a very good reputation.

Terrible reputation. I've had problems with them myself. Avoid them at all costs.

I noticed that too, but I think that mean that the $59.99 used systems (old model) were in stock. They were both on the same page.

I got mine from Toys R Us this summer. The downfall is you can't use a 32x or sega cd with it.

AVOID BUYRITE LIKE CANCER!! You will only regret it, besides their shipping so high it would never work out as a deal.

That's not much of a downfall :p :D

It is for me I am trying to recollect everything and the Star Wars game for the 32X and some other games are still fun today.

In that case, sell the new model gensis you have and pick up a used older model somewhere. Most Gamestops I've been in have them.
