That looks like a long time inbetween great games, along those games are 1-2 yrs away, i would have to think they would be a great game to that degree that will be coming out sooner.

The game I'm looking forward to the most for PS2 is this falls Kingdom Hearts. Xeno Saga is another title I want, but I'm not sure when it will be out in the US.

Part of the great thing about the PS2 to me, is that you don't always know what the next great game will be. I know GTA was popular on the PC, but no where to the level it was with the PS2, and I don't think many people were expecting it, it was sort of surprise.
So, I think the next "big thing" will come from somewhere unexpected.

It depends if you are looking for AAA titles, or just fun and involving titles.
I have found many other PS2 titles that have had me absorbed, and many more coming out.

I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts as well but doubt that it will sell well due to "adult" gamers (and I use the term loosely) thinking it's too cutesy with the Disney characters. If you haven't seen the trailer yet though, do yourself a favor and check it out at www.kingdomhearts.com ... it looks spectacular.

I can't see why this game wouldn't be a hit. You have all the "adult" FF fans and all the kids will want to play because of th disney characters. I will be buying this one.

Bringing back the old thread because summer's almost here and I haven't heard much PS2 buzz. I figure some A-list titles must be coming out soon to steal some of Resident Evil's thunder. Is it going to be Kingdom Hearts, or is there something else on the horizon to be all excited about?
