R.I.P TheGia.com -another great gaming site lost

Another great gaming site is lost, the The Gaming Intelligence Agency has apparently closed its site. This is bad news, it was an excellent fan run site and one of my favorites for rpg, niche, and import gaming, and a really funny remake of the Zelda rap (you know the old NES commercial one I'm referring to). It was the best RPG site to go to after IGN bought out RPGamer and their content went way downhill. Some of you old time SNES gamers might remember Andrew Vestal who started RPgamer(previously known as the Unnoficial Squaresoft Homepage) and then moved on to TheGia. At first I thought this was an april fool's joke but after a week they have not changed it so it seems that it is true. There's a fairly extensive section on why they are closing the site with articles by all the staff, its worth reading. It will be missed.

The GIA will be missed. No more daily 'Double Agent' makes me sad.

After the scare last year, I was suspecting this.
